Spring Cleaning!
With spring beginning soon and spring break already here, a deep clean is in order! But this post is not reminding you to clean your car or bathtub (although now it briefly is!). Instead, we need to talk about a deep cleaning your mind.

Do you recall what your New Year's resolution was? How are you holding up? If you are like 99.99% of the population, you probably already reverted back to your old ways! Believe me, I have too. But I do not consider myself a failure. Why? Because I believe that trying is not failure. If my goal was to be healthy but I am still overweight, did I fail? Not necessarily because I might be in the process of getting healthier. In essence, failure is the opposite of success while trying is the journey of being successful. The journey is not linear since there will be many obstacles, but as long as we are heading in the right direction, we will eventually get to where we are going.
We tend to think that we have to wait to try again when everyday, every moment, is another chance to better ourselves. You do not have to wait another season or a “sign from above“ to start. For us, the present is all we have.
I hope this blog post inspires you to deep clean your thoughts and clear out anything holding you back. Remember, the only person you should compare yourself to is the person you were yesterday.
God bless!
